While photographing this an elderly man came to see what it was I was taking shots of and told me: "Ohhhhhh a grasshopper (sounded disappointed, as if to say "is that all?") - You should have come to us in Yemen, we used to fry them in a cooking pot and eat them. They're delicious."
Well, each and their own... But me it would disgust me eating them.
