Relaxed Shabbat

After Hana urgently returned home to a sick mother Friday, I stayed alone for the weekend. It was actually very enjoyable. Was able to rest a lot. I needed that.

  1. Aha, a nutria, coypu or in Dutch beverrat.
The difference between a muskrat and nutria are the teeth, the muskrat's are yellowish and the nutria's orange.
Too there are the whiskers, muskrat's are black and nutria's are white, also a muskrat does not show any ears.
Average weight of the muskrat is 1,1 kilo, compared to this one the nutria is a giant with it's average of 6-7 kilo.

The nutria is relative tame, they might be attracted by a carrot.

Never try to pat the thing on the head, seen to its origin from South America it expects a bird of prey from above.
